Health Promotion Week in Coláiste Treasa

We are holding a Health promotion week from the 7th to 11th February for all first year students. This is to encourage better eating habits among students and to be nutritionally aware.

Our agenda for the week is a sports day (Tuesday), Table Quiz (Friday), Film Screening (Supersize me and Why thin people are thin, (Monday)), Yoga, Nutritionist talk and food Tasting, Irish Dancing, Treasure Hunts. Particular emphasis in the classroom for the week will be on healthy Eating and Lifestyle.

The nutritionist talk and the food supplied are being sponsored by Twohigs Supervalu, Kanturk Co-Op, The National Dairy Council, The Daily Grind, Dan Curtin Fruit and Veg.

Newmarket Supervalu, Central sports shop, O Callaghans Garage, Vinny's newsagents and The Photoshop..
